Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information
March 23, 2020
The health and safety of our customers and employees is top priority of the Parker County Special Utility District Board and Management. For the safety of our customers and employees, the District’s lobby and drive-thru window will be closed to help combat the spread of the COVID-19. As our community relies on safe and clean water, the District will take great measures to ensure the safety of staff.
We ask that you please use the night drop box at the drive-thru window. We also recommend using our website for any forms (transferring service/new service/disconnect service), paying your bill (which will direct you to Payment Service Network 24 hours/7 days a week), and general information. You may also continue to pay your bill by mail, night-drop box, or by calling 877-885-7968, a 24-hour toll free number.
If you have any emergency water issues, please call 817-594-2900. Our phones are answered 24 hours a day. For non-emergency issues, please call the office during business hours Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm. The office staff will be working remotely, so please bear with us during this time.
The District staff will continue to work and provide an essential service every day of the year, as we have in the past and will in the future. We will continue to provide our customers with safe, high quality drinking water to the residents and businesses within our service area during this crisis and beyond.
COVID-19 has not been detected in drinking water and conventional treatment should remove or inactivate the virus. More information can be found at: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/php/water.html. The District’s water is safe, and it is not necessary to buy bottled water because of COVID-19.
We ask that you please continue to conserve water due to the stress that is on the District’s water systems. Mandatory Stage I Water Conservation has been in effect since July 20, 2018. If you are unfamiliar with the restrictions, you may view our website for the detailed restrictions.
Working together, being proactive and taking all necessary precautions for health protection will be the best combination to overcome this virus.
